Shortcuts to Becoming An Influencer.

I believe God-honoring women should influence and transform the world.”

What if there was a shortcut to a life of influence? Would you take that journey? Antoine de Saint Eupery said, “Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but nothing more to take away.”

In this challenging and inspiring book, Robin K. Moore understands this deeply. But she’s also discovered that finding our #nofilterneeded true self involves stripping away what the world encourages us to add. If we are called to influence the lives of others, to truly impact them, then we must consider what needs to be changed in our culture. And we must start with ourselves.

What is #nofilterneeded? In our social media riddled culture, it is rare NOT to modify a photo by adding a filter to alter its reality. It is both expected and desirable. While influencers today are looking for the perfect filter for their brand, the elusive holy grail of picture taking is to get a photo where there is no filter necessary. That means that the image is perfect in the raw.

When we use the #nofilterneeded hashtag, it lets the viewer know that we have captured something so special that it would be pointless to doctor it up with a filter. But what if we could achieve that in real life? How could we have a global, godly impact on our world? It would start with stripping away what undermines our influence as Christian women. There are filters that we have we layered on ourselves that distort our image and how we appear to others and they are not always attractive. Perhaps you have heard of some of these filters. Ones like: PERFECTIONISM, INSECURITY, WEIGHT MONSTERS, BURNOUT, FAKING IT, SELF-SABOTAGE, AND STRESS?

In #NoFilterNeeded: Shortcuts to Becoming an Influencer, Robin invites us to hear 13 stories of powerful women who were able to remove the distracting filters that were undermining their lives of influence. They share their journeys, so we can shortcut ours. Although they successfully navigated changing the culture in their own lives, they don’t pretend to be perfect.

Contributors include: Aleshia Davenport, Alisha Patrick, April Bowden, Diana Acosta, Evelyn Kershaw, Gigi Smith, Heidi Black, Kimberly Bausley, Kristina Messenger, Lorna Rivera, Morgan Moore, Scarlett Simpson and Yvette Smith.

By studying their strategies, we can learn how to become who God created us to be: the women that are called according to His purpose. Robin K. Moore reminds us that true influential power resides in authentically in unwrapping ourselves in the One who created us. It is the holy grail of #nofilterneeded and it allows us to influence and transform the world.
